Guides
Poly Loot guides for every stage of the run: your first hour, level milestones, stat priorities, coin and EXP routes, and the mistakes that quietly stall early progression.
Introduction
Poly Loot is easy to start and unusually easy to waste your first few hours on. The game gives you a starter weapon, drops almost everything you kill, and never explains that a low-tier item is worth less than the Shards you would spend upgrading it. This category is the map for that problem: it covers the kill-to-loot loop, how tier rolls decide whether a drop is worth wearing, where Coins and EXP actually come from, and which stat points pay off in the first hour versus twenty hours later. Progression in Poly Loot is less about grinding harder and more about spending materials in the right order, so the guides here are organised by stage of the run rather than by game system. Start with the beginner walkthrough, then branch into whichever system is currently holding you back.

Core Mechanics
Everything in Poly Loot feeds one loop: kill monsters, collect what they drop, put on anything better than what you are wearing, and spend the leftover materials on upgrades. The loop has three pressure points. The first is tier, because two identical weapons with different rolled tiers have completely different ceilings, and upgrading the wrong one burns Shards you cannot get back. The second is level, which gates both the areas you can safely farm and the enemies that drop worthwhile gear. The third is materials, because weapons, armor and mounts each have their own upgrade track and their own Tier Scroll, so progress is never gated by a single grind. Understanding that structure is what separates a run that keeps moving from one that stalls at a wall of unsellable drops.
Advantages
Poly Loot is unusually friendly to new players for a loot RPG. The starter area is genuinely safe, the first boss teaches attack timing without punishing mistakes harshly, and the four active codes hand out Tier Scrolls and Coins that skip several hours of early farming entirely. Because every category of content is reachable from the main map rather than behind a long quest chain, you can chase whatever you find interesting first — elementals, mining, or the boss ladder — without feeling locked out. The game also runs comfortably in an eight player server, so a group can split up to cover several farming routes at once and share what drops. Finally, updates arrive on a one to two week rhythm and each one has shipped with a redemption code, which means the early game keeps getting cheaper over time.
Challenges
The same openness that makes Poly Loot welcoming also makes it easy to waste resources. Nothing in the game warns you that a common-tier weapon is not worth upgrading, so new players routinely sink Shards into gear they will replace within an hour. Information is another weak point: the game itself publishes almost no numbers, so drop odds, boss health and spawn timing all have to be observed rather than looked up. Luck is split across three separate game passes, which means an under-geared player can spend real money on Tier Luck and still see no improvement because the underlying drop rate was the problem. Level 300 is a long road with a very small number of players at the top, and the gap between level 200 and level 300 is far wider than the earlier milestones suggest.

Quick Tips
Claim the codes on day one, not on day ten. Tier Scrolls from JUNGLE, Spark and Lev are exactly the material you would otherwise grind for, and every hour you spend farming without them is an hour of duplicated effort. The codes do not expire on a timer you can see, so the safe assumption is that any code could be retired at the next update.
Do not upgrade a common weapon. The upgrade track is tied to the tier the item rolled, so pushing a low tier weapon to a high level spends real materials to reach a ceiling you will abandon anyway. Wear it, farm with it, and hold your Shards for the first Rare or better drop you get.
Route mining trips through shrines. Mining gives Shards and shrines give their own rewards, and both sit on the same map, so planning a loop that touches a shrine on the way to a mining spot turns two separate activities into one trip. This single habit is the cheapest efficiency gain in the early game.
